The descent follows the limestone wall through exceptionally clear water. At approximately 20 metres, a spectacular hydrogen sulfide cloud appears, covering a large part of the bottom of the cenote.

Dead tree trunks emerge from this milky-white layer, creating an almost surreal underwater landscape. After passing through the cloud, divers once again enter perfectly clear water that reveals the immense scale of the cenote.

During the ascent, sunlight passes through the opening above and gradually illuminates the limestone walls of the vertical shaft.
