Halocline Explorers specializes in scuba diving in Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, and the cenotes of the Riviera Maya.
Founded by Julien Garnier, IANTD Instructor Trainer and professional diver with more than 15 years of experience, Halocline Explorers was created from a deep passion for underwater exploration, high-quality training, and sharing unique diving experiences.
International experience
Throughout his career, Julien has worked in some of the most prestigious diving destinations in the world, including:
Mexico, Bahamas, Maldives, Malta, Egypt, Sudan, and Indonesia.
He has held several roles such as:
- Dive center manager
- Liveaboard director
- Technical diving instructor
Technical diving expertise
As an IANTD Instructor Trainer, one of the highest professional levels in diving education, Julien trains divers from beginner to advanced levels, including:
- Instructor-level training
- Recreational scuba diving
- Technical diving (deep diving, trimix, sidemount)
- Cave and cenote diving
- CCR (rebreather) diving
