Julien Garnier — IANTD Instructor Trainer

Founder of Halocline Explorers • Over 30 years of diving • Over 15 years of professional experience

Julien Garnier has worked as a professional scuba diving instructor for more than 15 years and is an IANTD Instructor Trainer, one of the organization’s highest professional teaching ratings.

He trains and guides divers and instructors from around the world, from their first cenote dives to advanced cave diving, Full Cave, Trimix and CCR training.

A former member of the military and police, Julien has developed a teaching approach based on discipline, clear instruction and safety. His objective is to share his experience in a professional, personalized and friendly environment, allowing every diver to progress with confidence, whatever their level.

International Diving Experience

Throughout his career, Julien has worked in several world-renowned diving destinations, including Mexico, the Bahamas, the Maldives, Malta, Egypt, Sudan and Indonesia.

As a dive center manager, liveaboard cruise director, technical diving instructor and IANTD Instructor Trainer, he has trained and guided divers of all levels in a wide range of environments, from coral reefs to demanding underwater cave systems.

This international experience allows Halocline Explorers to offer a modern approach adapted to every level, based on proven diving practices acquired around the world.
