The cenote is reached by following a path through the jungle. A pulley system is then used to lower the scuba cylinders to a small wooden platform.

After a short water entry, the dive begins inside a vast chamber before continuing into a genuine labyrinth of richly decorated passages.

The route alternates between large chambers, numerous narrow passages, gigantic columns, thousands of perfectly preserved stalactites and stalagmites, and several natural air domes where tree roots extend through the limestone rock and reach the water.

Depending on the selected route—Upstream or Downstream—the underwater scenery constantly changes, making every dive feel like a genuine exploration.
